as 2011 comes to a close...

...I reflect on the lessons learned.

2011 was a great year--and I expect 2012 will be even better. Thank you for supporting this happy artist.

my thoughts on 2011 as it flies into the sunset:

There are no shortcuts. Art and writing require work and commitment. But, it all starts with one word and one brushstroke. Before you know it, you have completed something.

Surround yourself with people who encourage you to pursue your dreams.

Wake up grateful every morning.

If you have left something behind, there must be a good reason for it. Don't look back, keep moving forward.
